As an AMEB piano examiner, Carl is able to offer students comprehensive and informed exam preparation that is tailored to each student in order to maximize their results.
Students of Carl enjoy regular success in examinations and competitions and have been recipients of various scholarships. In 2016 two of Carls students were nominated to perform in the HSC Encore Showcase held at the Sydney Opera House and one of Carls students received a HSC music performance result placing them in the top 1% of all students in the state. Many other students have gone on to become professional musicians.
Whether working towards an exam, concert performance or simply learning for pleasure, the Central Coast Piano Studio can accommodate all student needs at the highest level.
Lessons are at an agreed time either weekly , fortnightly or by consultation.
Students benefit not only from the many Historical Performances that are made available on the Yamaha C7 Disklavier Piano, but also from hearing and seeing their own playing reperformed by the piano.
Some studio policies do apply.
Students must be equipped with a suitable instrument at home. For beginners this can be a 88 note keyboard with weighted keys but for more advanced players an acoustic piano is required.
